Films are produced by recording images with camera or it could be animation techniques or special effects.
Film is a source of popular Entertainment and powerful method for educating the citizens.
Some films have become popular worldwide attraction by using dubbing or subtitles that translate the dialogue.

(Before 1900s)

The Moving Image (1600s)

Light is invented through a small hole or lens from outside and projected onto a surface of screen by GIAMBATTISTA DELLA PORTA. He creates a moving image but it was not preserved in a recording.

Praxinoscope and Zoetrope (1860)

Praxinoscope and Zoetrope or Mutoscope were outgrowths of simple optical devices and would display sequences of still pictures at sufficient speed for the images on the pictures to appear to be moving, a phenomenon called persistence of vision.

Experiment of Edward (1878)

It became possible to directly capture objects in motion in real time. An 1878 experiment by Eadweard Muybridge in the United States using 24 cameras produced a series of stereoscopic images of a galloping horse, arguably the first "motion picture," though it was not called by this name. This technology required a person to look into a viewing machine to see the pictures which were separate paper prints attached to a drum turned by a handcrank. The pictures were shown at a variable speed of about 5 to 10 pictures per second, depending on how rapidly the crank was turned. Commercial versions of these machines were coin operated.

Motion picture Camera (1888)

By the 1880s the development of the motion picture camera allowed the individual component images to be captured and stored on a single reel, and led quickly to the development of a motion picture projector to shine light through the processed and printed film and magnify these "moving picture shows" onto a screen for an entire audience. These reels, so exhibited, came to be known as "motion pictures". Early motion pictures were static shots that showed an event or action with no editing or other cinematic techniques.

Dickson Experimental Sound Film (1894s-1895)

There had been experiments to synchronize a disc recording to the picture. But in 1894 end, William Kennedy who was not only the inventor also a director producer and cinematographer, he invented a projector that recorded sound on reel. There was the trend of silent films before 1920 so that’s why he got no response and people know that film is a silent art form.

Vitascope Theater (1896)

Vitascope theator was the first theator of films with 72 seats opened in 1896 in newyork Amarica.

The scenes were later brokenup into multiple shots of varying sizes and angles. Other techniques such as camera movement were ralized as effective ways to portray a story on film. Before 1920 there was optical recording of sound on film in Hollywood Amarica.

The Question is, Why did Hollywood wait untill the late 1920 to introduce sound films?

The Awnser is MONEY.

They don’t want to spend money because that process was very costly.

European Cinema was interrupted

The rise of European cinema was interrupted by the outbreak of Worl War 1 when the film industry in United states flourished with the rise of Hollywood. There was great innovative work of D.W Griffith in ‘The Birth Of a Nation’(1914) and ‘Intolerance’(1916), two great movies for the Amarican citizens.

Ideas of promoting sales by using internet

Lets Busy..

In Earning..

At Home !!

1. One idea of promoting business by using online media is that a businessman can start his/her business by acting as an advisor. For example, he can provide suggestions and guidance to the people who want to make their personalities better. People can ask from that advisor that how they can improve their English speaking. Or mothers sitting at their homes can ask from that advisor how can they bring up their children. How they can teach etiquettes to their children in every day life. In return, advisor may ask for the payment for these advices and in this way he can run his business and gain more and more customers.
2. Another new idea for running business through online media is that a businessman can start or run his business or promote his sales in such a way that he starts “an online restaurant” on his website and he can place a list or menu of various eatables on the front page. In such a way he can invite his customers to click on their favorite dishes and drinks. Then the ordered items can be delivered to their doors. Through this business man can promote his business by offering “quick delivery”.
3. A new idea of promoting business by using online media is that you can open an “online forum” related to discussions about cars. On this forum, you are offering helps to your customers in such a way that if a customer wants to ask “I want to buy a buy a car of model e.g., Centro. Then what are the problems I may have to face in driving it?”. Forum is a platform where you can discuss your views and reviews about anything. By asking above question, customer can get different reviews on the car model which is mentioned by the customer. In this way the businessman can promote his business through online forum.
4. A unique idea of promoting a business may be “Search Engine Optimization” and this optimization may be region wise in which you as a business man can pay money to the search engine like Google and ask it to place your personal website or the product on the top of the list. By doing this you can have more and more subscribers because usually when people write in search engine required information, it shows a long list of different websites related to that information. By paying money to Google you can place your sales on the top of the list and promote your business.
5. Similarly you may promote your business by giving ads on already known websites. For example Yahoo only promote websites and these websites become popular among audience but if you give your product or company ads on such well known websites, you can achieve your target.
6. Another idea may be that by opening a website for example GSML, you may give a breaking ad of U-phone on the very first page then customer after watching this ad may enter into GSML. This method or technique may be region wise.
7. Another idea is that you may make a contract with a two companies of brand new cars. You know each and every thing about the cars present at the showrooms of the companies. You may also have the pictures of the cars. After that you can present these photos and related information, the addresses of the showrooms and the prices of these cars on the website and ask your customers to purchase any best one. In this way, customer is referred to the address of showroom of which he selects the car model. In this way a car company can promote his car business by involving such middle men.
8. You can also open a forum to discuss the problems related to mobile phones for which your customers may not have to go to the mechanics for repairing of their mobile phones. This is also an idea to promote your business through online media.
Conclusion
These are some new ideas mentioned above. Online media has made the life easier by giving people as well as businessmen to achieve their specific goals. There may be many other ideas which can be implemented by using online media.

Effects of Advertisement on Kids

The ad filmmakers should remember that the commercials can have positive and also negative IMPACT on people, especially the young children. In this article, we have presented some of the most visible effects of advertising on children, positive as well as negative.

Positive Effects Of Advertisement On Kids
• Society’s norms and values: Through advertisements ad makers can highlight the norms and values of the society but it required effective communication.
• Passion of professions: Advertisement can motivate kids what they should be in the future like Doctor, scientist, engineer etc. it generates passion for their future profession and for this how much education is important for them.
• Increases knowledge: Advertisement increases their knowledge about the latest innovations, in the field of technology as well as otherwise.
• Awareness to use healthy food: Convincing ads, which centre around healthy food products, can help improve the diet of a child, if they are attractive enough. Ads can aware the kids which product is good for health or which healthy food is required if they want to use that product.
• Provide Formal Education: Through advertisements kids can learn the basics like a.b.c, 1234 etc and can learn more easily.
Some benefits:
1. Information of products in market or upcoming products.
2. Free Entertainment because of animations and cartoon characters.
Negative Effects Of Advertisement On Kids
• Kids behave rudely with their parents because of not getting the product shown in advertisement: Advertisements encourage the children to persuade their parents to purchase the products shown in the commercials, whether useful or not. The little ones tend to get adamant, if they are not bought the product. They do not think whether the product is beneficial for them or not. When they are refused by their parents to purchase that particular product, they become angry at their parents.
• Attraction towards negativity: Children often tend to misinterpret the messages conveyed in commercials. They overlook the positive side and concentrate more on the negative aspect.e.g, in an ad, a father is reading a newspaper, then he calls his son to fetch the nestle water, then watching such ad of nestle water children concentrate on smoking.
• Stunts in commercials: Many advertisements in the present times include dangerous stunts, which can be performed only by experts. Even though the commercials broadcast the statutory warnings with the ad, the kids often try to imitate the stunts at home, with fatal results. This can be very harmful for them.
• Passion for shopping: The flashy advertisements broadcast in television generate impulse shopping in children. Ads can be made flashy by spoken enthusiastic words, phrases and music. They don’t look here and there. They just burst into excitement.
• Presence of glamour and absence of materialistic joy: There is a lot of glamour and glitter in commercials. Children, after watching the glitter of commercials, often lose the ability to live a life without materialistic joy.
• Attraction towards branded products: The kids usually get more attracted towards the costly branded products, such as jeans and accessories. They disregard the inexpensive, but useful, ones that are not shown in the commercials. They think that this brand will fulfil their desire to purchase and use the product and it will increase their status in the society.
• Generate bad temper for not having the latest products: Advertisements have an indirect effect on the behaviour of children. They might develop temper tantrums, when deprived of the latest toys and clothes that are shown in the commercials. They become psychologically disturbed and can have an inferiority complex.
• Children prefer ads over their personal choice: Children have their own choice first. They have their own likings and disliking but when they see an advertisement, they attracted by such commercials and so personal preferences in clothing, toys, food and luxurious of children are altered by the advertisements, to a great extent.
• Health of children is badly affected by watching junk food ads repeatedly during T.V hours: Junk foods, such as pizzas, burgers and soft drinks, are heavily promoted during children's TV viewing time. This develops a craving for fatty, sugary and fast foods in kids, thereby affecting their health adversely. They do not think that eating such kind of food, they can be fat and can have heart and other physical diseases.
• Language: Language should not be unethical and objectionable. E.g. language should not be such as to promote other cultures and not also as tappori which lead towards negativity.
• Dangerous products: The products advertised should not suffer from defects which are dangerous to kids health. It should not be low quality.
• Alcohol advertisements: The advertisements not for kids but the characters in these types often animated that has attraction.
• Tobacco advertisements: A large number of advertisements on TV channels are related to tobacco and even during kids programmes it often seems that effects badly on them.
• Sex in advertisements: There is no difference between advertisements of kids products and other products which are not related to kids and kids have no sense. Some of in these has sex and glamour in it and kids perceive it without any hesitation.

Most of the commercials are bad for kids because ad-makers and owners doing only for their products and services. Advertisers are spending billion dollars in a year for kids but its not working. Parents have a big responsibility to protect their children from the commercials which are not good for kids.
